This will be the sixth piece from the collection. It’s on an Inuit artifact, an ice axe, it’s not dated but I would say late 80’s or early 90’s. It’s a mother grizzly with 3 Cubs and the male fishing in the river. It was done by Mary Gregg Byrne of Bellingham. I’m told that she no longer does scrimshaw but is doing watercolor paintings.
